The year 2008 Witnessed a great achievement, Which is... Representing Palestine In India, Baroda & at one of the most famous schools named GUJARAT PUBLIC SCHOOL.

It was actually a cultural exchange program in partnership between GUJARAT PUBLIC SCHOOL (GPS) & the world's largest student organization in the world (AIESEC).

A project under the name of ONE WORLD where students from more than 20 countries participated in it, and shared their culture, history & lifestyle with the school students in order to raise cultural awareness and get them closer to their culture and land.

we had been working for this project as student cultural ambassadors, and thankfully i had been the student cultural ambassador of my dearest country ever PALESTINE, giving presentations about my country, telling about the Palestinians & their life, talking about our Palestinian and generally about our Arab culture & great rich history.

After my experience there, i would sadly admit that Palestine and the Arab world are not that known, i would sadly say that the world is not aware of our existence and our great ancient and modern history civilization, and this is the crucial point ever... That this project helped me and the other cultural ambassadors to know about one another, to share their thoughts and minds, to tell about the variety of the globe we belong to, giving each and every participant of this project the global understanding and the respect of the other, But, who's the one behind all that?! is it me?! or the cultural ambassador of Taiwan?! or UK or Turkey Or China???!!! of course the one behind all that is the dearest person to my heart... My dearest sister ABHILASHA AGRAWAL.

Abhilasha Agrawal (ABHI) is my sister, and she's also the director of the school we worked for -GPS- and the director of the project... Project ONE WORLD.

Well, to speak about Abhilasha it takes me several hours to show how amazing that girl is, how helpful that girl is, how intelligent Abhilasha is.

She's the one who took the responsibility of gathering us under one roof -GUJARAT PUBLIC SCHOOL, and honestly speaking is the one & the only one...

rarely to find a person like her, it's rarely to find a Leader in every way that a person can be called a leader, respected by all... The officials and the media persons moving to the servants and the internationals, a one that's sacrificing her life for the sake of other.

to me... Abhilasha is more than a sister, she's a sister, a friend & a mother regardless her young age, she's the one who's very friendly, cooperative & dreamer...

by listening to her you feel how dreamer she is, she's dreaming of better and educated Indian society, and working for this target very hardly.

in her eyes you can see a lover, a lover for everything, her country, her parents & her students at GPS, and she's trying as much as she can to provide them with the global direction that she believes in by making a partnership with Aiesec Baroda that brought me & the other interns to her school.

On the personal level I'd proudly say... "Without Abhilasha none of us would have been there, and none of her students at GPS would have got the chance to get closer to others cultures and lifestyles, moreover, Abhilasha was always there for me, she inspired me with everything amazing in her personality & she helped me to show my Palestinian rich culture the best way, she always showed me how she was inspired by my love to my country, and that was a main reason behind working so hard to deliver the right message of the Palestinians and the Arabs and generally the Muslims all around the world.

She made my trip by her enthusiasm to know more about the Islamic and the Arab culture & traditions, not only this... What Abhilasha gave me and still giving is more than any person could ever imagine...

Beside the full support of her during my trip and stay at GPS, she gave me several souvenirs and things from India as well as the other interns but the thing that touched me a lot is... Her letter to the Palestinian ambassador to Cairo and the certificate to the embassy in Egypt as a gesture to what i proudly did there, and to show her gratitude of having a Palestinian friend in her project, probably Abhilasha doesn't know what does this mean to me and to the Palestinians, it means a world to every Palestinian on earth that she respects and gratitude our existence and rights and our right to express the Palestinian case as well as the other cases like the Taiwanese, and generally all the other countries.

I came back to Egypt full of energy and self confidence -just- because of her, because she is the one that deserves the best from every one as especially from me.

Your gifts for my parents & sister are really beyond expectations, your very nice words to me that touched my heart and made me cry are considered the world to me, not only because they are precious and extremely valuable, but because they come from my best & dearest person ever Abhilasha.

At the end... And as i used to say and still saying to you and to the others THANK YOU SEEMS To BE VERY LITTLE TO BE SAID, thanking you is a must and a duty, not only MOATASSEM BELLAH is thanking you, but the Ambassador MR. Nabil Amr -the Palestinian ambassador to Egypt, and not only me & the ambassador, But the whole Palestinian nation that's thanking you for everything you did for the Palestinians & Palestine, and of course my parents who are proud of me now of doing all what i did in India JUST because of YOU.

Whenever i look at your Picture that's on my mobile wall paper that i took during our visit to the TEMPLE when you prayed for me to fulfill all my dreams, i start to cry, because this means your appreciation to my work at your school, and you love what i respect all day long. But i try to hold my self hoping to return back one day and meet my lovely sister ABILASHA.

Thank you Abhilasha, Thank you GPS and Thank you India, And INSHALLAH one day we'll meet and we'll remember those amazing days at GPS... My regards to Your Students and my friends at GPS, and The staff moving to the servants.

Handala

Naji Al Ali... A Palestinian cartoonist, not only talented he also uses his talent for the best of his nation. he was born in Ash-Shajara village in 1936, one of 480 villages destroyed after 1948 by Zionists. His family was displaced to Ein Al-Hilweh refugee camp in Lebanon.

One of the most important characters of Naji-Al Ali is The child above. do you want to know who is that child? well, let me tell you... His name is Handala, not beautiful, his hair is like the hair of a hedgehog who uses his thorns as a weapon, he is not fat , happy, relaxed, or pampered child, he is barefooted like the refugee camp children. His hands are clasped behind his back as a sign of rejection at a time when solutions are presented to us the American way. Handala was born ten years old, and he will always be ten years old. At that age Naji-Al Ali left his homeland Palestine, and when he returns Handala will be 10.

No one of us can see Handalas' eyes, whenever we look at him we only find him turns his back and the only way to see his face When Arab dignity is no longer threatened, and when the Arab individual regains his freedom and humanity. Still, Handala is the witness of the century who will never die... The witness who watch and feel the pain of his nation and the weakness of a nation led the whole world one day.

May be some of you don't feel the importance of Handala, but if you focus on Handala you'll find it clear that he is not only a cartoon character but much more.Handala always looks at Palestine... A problem which is so difficult to be solved soon. During Naji-Al Ali era Handala was only looking at Palestine; but now -unfortunately- He looks at most of our Arab countries; Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Somalia...ETC. he looks at them suffering because of the current Arab weakness. But He is still passive enough to take an action.

I always ask my self when are we going to see Handalas' face???!!!, when are we going to watch Handala running towards Palestine, Iraq & Lebanon helping his nation to get out of all their catastrophes?!, Is it soon to gain that chance! is my generation going to reach that moment or it will be postponed to the next or the upcoming generations??? -hope to be us.

Knowing Handala is not enough, my medal of Handala is always with me; between my hands and in my mind, I'm always asking my self am i moving on the right road or i have to move to another one to let Handala get his freedom and dignity. i always hold Handalas' hands trying to separate each, i look at him and feel how we are still less able to save any of our lands, may be because of passiveness or less creativity but we are still. Even though Handala is also a symbol of the Palestinian and Arab suffer which will stay till we get our stolen rights.

The story of Handala is much more than a story, it's a story of generation, of nation, of a person who felt the pain of his people made him inventing that symbolic character. Naji-Al Ali described the whole Arab situation and weakness by his symbol Handala making him not only a legend, but a dream of each of us to find him Deciphering restrictions and moving towards the freedom and returning back his nations' dignity.

The greatness of Naji-Al Ali made him one of the most important cartoonists in the world which attracted the whole worlds' respect to his nation and his country. The New York Times once wrote: "If you want to know what the Arabs think of the US look at Naji Al-Ali's cartoons."

Last but never least, directing my words to you Handala... you will never stay passive, you will move and prove to the whole world that our nation will never stay passive, there is no silence anymore. it's the time for work... For getting back our rights, our dignity & our respect. I always say " if there is only one Arabian on earth, Palestine will survive, Lebanon will re-gain it's power & the whole Arab world will be improved in a way or another" just keep looking at Palestine and the Arab world which increase your will to resist and do your best for the sake of the nation you belong to.

Contradiction!

One of the most developed economic & political entities in the world is the European union, it's a union composed of European members states all share the same customs, traditions & values.
As stated in articles I-1, I-2 of the European constitution.. The union is open to all European states that respect the members states' values which are.. Human dignity, Freedom, Democracy & minority rights. But -unfortunately- what we see nowadays is approximately different.. The great countries of the union don't follow those principles.

What we notice from the European constitution is that free speech includes any topic no matter how the importance of it is, but each person is free enough to express without restrictions. By proving so we all saw the Europeans' reaction when a danish newspaper "jyllands-posten" showed our beloved prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) in cartoons as a terrorist which got the whole Islamic community angry calling for a European apology.. But surely the union disagreed in order to protect the free speech concept.
That's a great proof of how much Europe respects freedom of speech even if that freedom insults the human messenger(Muhammad), but does Europe really accept all kinds of free speech?! don't make sure!.

David Irving a British historian has been facing a punishment in jail after he was arrested in Austria accused of denying the (Holocaust) where Jews were killed during the 2nd world war in Europe. he had denied the existence of concentration cap gas chambers where Jews were killed.he was arrested due to a law in Austria & most of the European countries prohibiting the denial of the holocaust and carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
Not only Irving... Dariusz rajczak a former member of the opole faculty was accused of being anti-Semite when he published 350 copies of his book "dangerous subject" in which he also denied the killing of the Jews in the "Auschwitz" gas chambers.

Not only Austria, not only Poland.. Holocaust denial is considered an anti-Semitic theory in many European countries since shortly after the world war 2, as their governments hold that it's motivated by an anti-Semite or neo-Nazi agenda.

At the 1st glance we might be deceived by the so called freedom of speech in Europe. If Europe really respects the free speech totally so why do the European countries pass such laws "Loi goissot" (a law prohibiting the holocaust denial in France), if denying such a Holocaust hurts the emotions of the Jews & should be prohibited; so why shouldn't insulting prophets and religions be prohibited too??!!.

It's not a call for accepting the holocaust denial but a need to protect all people not only some. The same as we care for the Jewish suffer we have also to care for Muslims emotions and prevent hurting them. As the supreme court justice Oliver Wendell Holmes said "If you believe in free thought then you must defend freedom not only for those who agree with you.. But freedom for the thought that you hate".

A couple of months ago a danish newspaper "jyllands-posten" posted cartoons showing our beloved prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H as a terrorist which angered the whole Islamic world & raised Muslims voices calling for a European apology to the Islamic community, but surely the EU disagreed.

The disagreement of the European union is due to the claim that Europe respects freedom of speech, But does Europe really respects freedom of speech even if that freedom hurts the emotions of more than 1 milliar person on this planet?!. On the other hand there is a violation of the free speech concept in most -if not all- the European countries...

Why do you accept the insult of a prophet descendant from god calling it freedom of speech & punish those who discuss historical events in a scientific way based on rationality??!!. Just think about it.

We still believe in the European freedom of speech & freedom in general. Another European country.. France, respects the personal freedom of following religions and practice it within the french boundaries , But one more time we are trapped. In France Muslim girls are no longer allowed to wear the veil in public schools under a law passed in the year 2004 says" Students are prohibited from wearing overtly religious symbols including not only Muslims headdress but also Jewish skull caps and large christian crosses.

Why does France pass such laws "loi gossi" & "the law prohibiting wearing religious symbols??!! why does Europe prohibits denying (such a holocaust) rather than condemning an irrational acts insult prophets, religions & dignity?!.

At first glance we might be deceived by the European democracy or freedom of speech because who support an Entity (Israel) which killing, destructing & stealing rights doesn't deserve to be believed.

The Land Of Olive

The land of olive... Palestine. Olive has been a symbol of freedom & peace for hundreds of years, and Palestine is known by it's olive trees which are spead all over the Palestinian lands. Palestine... A land linked to prophets and messengers and great history. it's the land of all relegions, Christinaty...Islam... Judaism.

Cities of Palestine are parts from paradise, the beauty of it's landmarks attracts each person wants to see the beauty of nature. roads are covered with flowers and jasmines especially the road to jerusalem it's somehow a heaven on earth, cars moving through the road watch the olive trees on both sides and the smell of olive sends optimism and hope for the future.

The city of peace... Jerusalem, the holy land which embraces the three celestial relegions was a city of peace & freedom sending it's safe and liberty to the whole world. But a number of foreign countries wanted to steal the freedom of that city since ages by sending different crosedure campaigns to steal the treasures of that holy land and send it to their countries in europe. The situation now is not totally different.

The peace has been turned to war, the freedom has been turned to siege... That's the current situation in Palestine. Your heart will be broken down when you find a mother hugging her child crying and saying "Dear child... you are one of my eyes, if i lose you for the sake of Palestine i don't mind because Palestine is a land should be protected by you and all", by saying so she assured that a person in Palestine dies to let hundred others live. you can feel her pain while saying so but what you don't know is that her child is not dead he is alive in paradise and if Palestinian dies another hundreds will be born to complete resistance and struggling to get back the stolen rights.

The braveness of a child holding a stone in his hand, throwing it into an Israeli tank is a little of the Palestinian braveness... A Palestinian little Girl holding her father's hand encouraging him to go and fight the Israeli enemy is some of what we see and feel and suffer from the occupation in our country everyday & moment. But it's the only way to get back our lands.

The greatness of Palestine is known by all and the desire of the whole world to gain some of the Palestinian treasures increases each day more than the day before.

The dream

United Arab states, no borders.. One flag.. One slogan.. One dream... The Arabian unity. If we remember our brilliant history we can find clearly the greatness of the nation we belong to, the power we had and the respect from each person knows that we are Muslims or Arabs, all that happened because we had one goal, were one hand & one nation. But now... Unfortunately we lost most of that greatness.

Hundreds of Arabs have the same dream which is the unity of their Arab countries. After the (Sykes biko) treaty which divided the Arab world into small countries each has it's own authority, flag and system, After dividing the Arab world.. The need of getting back our unity is very urgent to face the continuous occupations on our countries and to get power which protect us from any outer pressure.

The current Arab situation is somehow a crisis from all sides, poverty is spread all over the Arab countries.. Most of our Arab countries are occupied.. Rulers don't want to leave their places and want to keep ruling till the last breathe. Nowadays the Arab world is not able to show it self, to protect its nation or even to improve it self economically or politically. But the dream of getting back our unity and power is still there.

Each Arabian feels that he belongs to that great nation(the Arab nation) and also belongs to it's great civilization. Each Arabian wants to be related to one nation and one territory, but the point is that -as many feel- Arab governments don't want that step to be taken; why don't they want that step to be taken while if that happens the Arab countries will be improved economically-to avoid economic sanctions, politically-to avoid political pressure, and most importantly military -to be able to protect our lands from any outer invasion.

If we look at the dream from the emotional point we can find the Arabs are in common with too many things which enable the dream to be completed. Let's show some of these... The majority of Arabs are divided into Muslims & Christians, the Arabs also speak one language (the Arabic language), they have the same customs & traditions which cannot be differenciated from a state to another.
On the other hand, if we look at the realistic point of the dream we can see it less able to be achieved during this era but it's not impossible, even if we see the division of the Arab countries -as authorities and governments- increases and we can see clearly the weakness of the Arab league in facing any crisis but it's just a step towards the goal.

The dream of the Arabian unity is not only a dream, it's a dream to be fulfilled as soon as possible. It's not impossible to unite our efforts, authorities & our countries. As we saw the soviet union before and we can see recently the European union which is a great model of the unity between countries even if they have some differences between them.

My words are not only to show optimism, they also show evidences which prove to you that the Arabian unity is available, and to tell those who deny the ability of the Arab countries to re-unite that the dream may turn to reality if we trust ourselves and insist to achieve our goals. And to those who assure that if the whole world come together and unite... The Arabs will never achieve that step, I tell those people "When you say so it means that you know nothing about Arabs, the Arabs who face occupations and disasters none of you can face as bravely as we do, just look at the positive side of the Arab nation and the Arab people who work to implement what's good for their country".

In the end, the dream of the Arabian unity will never stay a dream, it'll be changed to reality if we put our hands together. There is no impossible to a nation achieved conquests, reached the borders of Europe not by killing and destroying as many others do... But by a will & insistance to spread the means of love, peace & safeness. And that's what we need from our unity.

Attacking Islam or freedom of speech?!

Attacking Islam has been increased by the western world after the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. and -unfortunately- it became a usual act to find westerns attacking Islam & our beloved prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H.

But the un-usual is to find a Muslim minister of culture Mr. Farouk Husni expresses his hatred to the Islamic veil (Hejab) in a statement written on an Egyptian independent newspaper "al masry el youm". Yet the anger against the statement didn't rest especially after his refusal to apologize.

He said "I'm so surprised while seeing hundreds of girls & women wearing the veil, which divides the Egyptian society into Muslims (wearing veil) and Christians without a hair cover.. Which increases the sectarian violence inside the country".

By saying so he tried to defend him self, but the question is "does the minister want us to remove and forget our religion and become like the west without ethics or traditions?! The answer is well known!

By completing defending him self and during an interview on t.v he added "I don't know why should girls cover their faces & bodies at the time they are the (flowers) of any nation must be shown to all people". So what we conclude from Husni's words that -in his own opinion- women's body is a commodity in which men have to enjoy watching it.

Some people consider that accident as a freedom of speech should be protected by all, while others feel that it's an irrational attitude comes out from a minister represents the ruling party, the government and an Islamic country should protect religion not attacking it.

My own opinion is that the minister has the right to say whatever he want, even if he expresses his hatred to one of the most important issues of the Islamic faith which is the veil. But what should be determined is that who said so is not a simple person but a person who represents the local egyptian government and a ministy of culture it's duty is to protect our domestic customs & traditions.

In the end if we agree or disagree with the Egyptian minister of culture, we all believe that religious faith should be protected by all citizens & especially the government.

Proud to be anti-semite

My opinion is that the Jews are the source of terrorism in the world... Therefore, I am an anti-Semite. The Zionist entity is the cause of all wars around the world... Therefore, I am an anti-Semite.

It's the truth, that each person tries to accuse the Israelis of doing wrong he must be an anti-Semite because Jews are the semites on earth and accusing them or hating them means hating semites which means you are an anti-Semite.

The so called Israel which occupied, destroyed & built it's own entity over our dead bodies, people don't have the right to accuse it of doing so.

Mel Gibson the the most famous American actor was accused of being anti-Semite just because four days after he was arrested for investigation of drunken driving, and according to the sheriff's report says Gibson told the arresting deputy: "The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world," and asked him, "Are you a Jew?".
Yes he was accused while he was drunk, so what would happen if he weren't drunk?!.

Gibson said: "I want to apologize specifically to everyone in the Jewish community for the vitriolic and harmful words," Gibson said in a statement issued by his publicist. "Please know from my heart that I am not an anti-Semite. I am not a bigot. Hatred of any kind goes against my faith."There will be many in that (Jewish) community who will want nothing to do with me, and that would be understandable," he added. "But I pray that that door is not forever closed."

The point is why was that happened?!, was it because Israelis are people who don't make any mistakes?!, or they can do what ever they want and nobody on this earth has the right to accuse them?!.
I am really so surprised, weren't they hated by the whole world before & during the 2nd world war?!, what happened to the feelings toward them?!. Questions are so difficult to be answered but we have to think a little bit about it.

Now the whole world can see clearly the crimes done by the Israeli troops in Palestine and Lebanon, but they don't have the right to accuse them or force them to stop these deadly crimes in the Arab world, unless they -the whole world- will be accused of being anti - semites.

Denying the death of jews in the so-called (holocaust) means also an anti-Semitic sign & even talking about that topic is totally unacceptable. Why is the whole world so afraid of the Zionist entity??!!, can't any brave man say it in a loud voice "I accuse the Jews of doing most -if not all- the crimes, wars & dead acts toward civilians and citizens??!!, can't a president of a great country take that brave step and decide not to keep silent and force the so called Israel to stop killing civilians, destroying their houses & hurting their emoticons??!!.

It's not the need of being Semite and protecting our selves from being anti-semites but it's the need of taking revenge, the need of accusing who violated the international law, and killed hundreds of innocent civilians. It's the need of putting pressure on whom who conquered safe nations, & punishing them because of their crimes

Now I do accuse the deadly Zionist entity of begin the source of terrorism, violence and violation of human rights. I can say it clearly and also in a loud voice "if attacking the Jews who live in Palestine and kill innocent people (the Israeli entity) may turn me to an anti-Semite... EU 2005 report

The year 2005 for the European union was simply different, there were too many decisions and debates to improve the EU econimically & politically.

Since 1 January, 12,000 large industrial plants in the power- and energy-intensive industries have been able to buy and sell permits to release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
This Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) enables companies exceeding individual CO2 emissions targets to buy pollution allowances from greener ones. These can then turn investments in cleaner technologies into cash and help the EU meet its Kyoto commitments to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
The system has earned the EU the reputation of global leader in fighting climate change but has come under fire from industry circles who criticise the EU for "going it alone" on the world stage, undermining EU companies' international competitiveness along the way. Indeed, the EU is the only trading bloc with such a system in place but hopes it will show the way forward to other regions.
Environmental organisations were initially enthusiastic about ETS. But they now say the scheme is being undermined by excess allowances to industry, putting inflationary pressures on the CO2 market.
"Because of the over-allocation of allowances, there are hardly any incentives for industries to reduce emissions more than business-as-usual. As a result, the CO2 emission market will most likely see low prices and the environmental effectiveness of the system will be reduced", said Oliver Rapf, senior policy officer at the WWF's European Policy Office.
In addition, some countries were denied the right to start trading because their CO2 allocation plans was rejected by the Commission. These include the UK, Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic. Greece is yet to submit its own plan.

As a result of the Tsunami disaster, The EU's foreign affairs, development and health ministers have agreed that, following the short-term humanitarian relief efforts, the focus should now shift to the rehabilitation and long-term reconstruction of the tsunami-hit regions.
Meeting in an extraordinary session on 7 January, the EU's foreign affairs, development and health ministers have agreed that humanitarian aid should be the main focus of tsunami relief efforts at this point. The Council highlighted the importance of actions to prevent the emergence of epidemics and protect human lives by ensuring food supply and access to drinking water, medicines and vaccines.
The EU will set out its ideas for helping the affected countries at a un-hosted donors' conference on 11 january.
The EU and its members have so far contributed over 1.5 billion euros in public donations to the disaster-stricken areas. The Council has called on the Commission and the European Investment Bank to devise a new financial instrument, called the 'Indian Ocean Tsunami Facility', which could provide funding of up to 1 billion euros. The Council would have organised a meeting on 31 January to assess medium to long-term response plans to the tsunami disaster.
The Council's conclusions underline that the aid given to help tsunami victims should not lead to a reduction in resources needed for African humanitarian and development aid.

About the relations between the EU & the U.S., the EU's ambassador in the U.S. John bruton has called in an interview with the financial times, has called for pragmatism and new relationship between the two countries.
He calls on Europeans not to take the rhetoric too literally and not to be put off by a tendency for some American politicians to place emphasis on religion:
"Rather than drawing conclusions, we should ask ourselves what is President Bush telling us. Are we saying that there is no such thing as evil in the world? And if there is such a thing, what is wrong with using the world evil?" asks Bruton and adds: "Europeans can penetrate the American debate. We just have to translate European into American... Clearly the president is not seeking God's advice on where to locate air strikes."
On the contentious Iraq issue, Bruton call for pragmatism: "We have to realise where we are now on Iraq: even if the US had the commitment of the French, Germans, Italians and Spanish, it would not change the fundamental equation. We need practical answers: what do Iraqi people need, how can the rest of the Arab world help, can we work with the Arab League?"
On the looming crisis over Iran's nuclear program, Bruton wants to see diplomacy and a soft power approach rather than tough military power.

According to the European efforts of fighting violence and intolerance, a conference were held in brussels on 3 of january for a three day conference condemning religious violence, where 150 rabbis & imams attended the conference to share opinions & ideas for how to avoid intolerance and violence on our earth.
the objectives of the conference, backed by peace organizations, religious bodies and the European union, are to create a dialogue between Islam & Judaism to find peaceful solutions for the current crises.
At the end they found that all blodshed should be ended and also the attacks against innocent human beings who have the right to live in peace.

The victory of mahmoud abbas -the new Palestinian president- according to the presidential elections on 9 january will open a "new avenue for peace in the middle east" says EU foreign policy minister javier solana.
solana added "iam sure that Palestinians & Israelis will take advantage of this opportunity, they can count on their european friends.
Hoping to return back to peace negotiotations, solana said that abbas should have the legitmacy required to move the middle east peace process forward.
The EU's foreign policy chief said that the scheduled March 2005 conference in London will be an "instrument to help" the Palestinians "to get prepared to assume the responsibilities of a new state". The Palestinians "are going to have a state and therefore they need to adapt their structures to the new reality of a state and we are ready and willing to help them with that."
and also prime minister tony blair commented on 9 january that "we have got a new Israeli government that is committed to trying to reinvigorate the peace process and you have got new Palestinian leadership that is committed to the same thing".

Something else important which is the youths health... A Commission study on young people's lifestyles and sedentariness underplays the role model function of adults in getting young people active, says a professor in clinical and health psychology.A Commission report published on 3 January does say that "good health starts at home" and mentions family as a 'reinforcing factor' encouraging physical activity but Professor Claus Voegele, from the clinical and health psychology research centre at Roehampton University, criticises it for "consistently downplaying the role model function of adults".The European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO) youth section places emphasis on young people taking their responsibilities. The President of the youth section of ENGSO, Rosemary-Paul Chopin, says that ENGSO sees adults as having "an accompanying and guiding role" rather than "an indoctrinating one".Reacting to the report's idea of special exercise courses for overweight children, he says such courses run the risk of excluding people and labelling them for no good reason. Indeed he fears the idea may backfire and lead to an overstatement of the importance of body weight. Ms Chopin says the report's recommendation should leave clubs and associations with room for manoeuvre on how to develop these courses (or other projects on this subject). She would see them as integrating those who are not overweight with those who are.

Because of the increase of terrorist attacks during the last couple of years, and especially after the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. America is trying hard to co-operate with the international community to fight the so called terrorism. The year 2005 was a year of democracy for Palestinians. They have chosen their representatives in the legislative council. Most of them belong to the Islamic resistance movement (Hamas) , which is listed as a terrorist organization according to the American list of terrorist groups.

After the great attack and boycotting the Palestinian government by the US administration , a strange step was taken by the European union... They have stopped supporting the government and the Palestinian people who have chosen democracy .
The European, the Japanese & the American support before the Hamas achievement was 800 million dollars a year _most of the money in the Palestinian safe. Therefore, cutting only the European support means the destruction of the Palestinian authority totally according to observers.

For the EU to keep supporting the Palestinian government , Hamas must recognize the Israeli entity _which is totally unacceptable. Hamas should also disarm & stop attacking the Israeli targets _which is also unacceptable.
And thus, we can conclude that the European union's main target is serving the interests of the Zionist entity not the sake of Palestinians' ... The Palestinians who lost their lands & rights and became just people living in different countries around the world without political or human rights .

Eight months have passed on cutting the European support... Eight months have passed on Palestinians without getting their salaries . No money to work... No money to get food , all that is because the fact that the EU _and the west in general_ decided to stop giving the Hamas government money.

Now the question is why is all that ?! , is it because Palestinians chose their representatives who are related to the Islamic movement (Hamas)?? Is it because Hamas is against the so called Israel and trying hard to get the Arabian rights back by fighting the Israeli troops and facing them ?? Or it's because Palestinians decided to complete protecting their land by choosing the Islamic resistance movement.
We can now easily see that those who call for democracy punish those who have chosen democracy.

The war on Lebanon .. Destruction on both sides

Smell of blood .. Dead bodies are thrown on the streets .. Rubbish is every where .. Missiles and tanks are spread all over the Israeli borders .. It's the Israeli war on Lebanon.

Israel is occupying shabaa farms in Lebanon so there must be a resistance movement to get back these farms _its the normal way_ And the Islamic resistance movement (Hezbollah) is trying to do so by killing Israeli soldiers & capturing others to exchange them by Lebanese people who are in Israeli prisons _and it's also the legal way to get back the rights_ so Hezbollah did so last July when the party's soldiers did an operation on the Lebanese - Israeli borders and killed 8 Israeli soldiers & captured 2 others , so Israel decided to start a great war on southern Lebanon to get back the 2 soldiers . But actually Israel wanted from the beginning to conquer Lebanon not for getting back the 2 Israeli soldiers but to destroy Hezbollah & remove it from the borders because it's resistance is driving them crazy so conquering Lebanon to destruct Hezbollah is the only solution.

But fortunately Israel didn't expect the results of that failure war because Hezbollah surprised the whole world by his power & weapons & resistance which should be educated at every military college to teach new students the best ways of fighting and the best way of killing more soldiers without paying a lot .. Hezbollah not only surprised the Arabs or the the Arab leaders who condemned the last operation but also surprised the Palestinian occupied lands 1948 (the so called Israel) where it was the first time in it's bloody history for it's nation to leave their houses and run away to avoid the Lebanese missiles which surprised the whole world . Something else about the Lebanese resistance is the destruction of hundreds of tanks most of them are (Merkava) the best Israeli tank , we can also feel that most of the Israelis who were killed during the war are soldiers or militants not civilians or children or women which proves the great Lebanese resistance.

The Israeli PM confessed that his army lost the war and Lebanon (Hezbollah) won it .

At the end after we saw the brave resistance of Hezbollah and the Lebanese people we all must be sure that getting back our rights and lands is a possible thing and it is very easy to win the war and remove any occupation only by the Arabian & the Islamic union , if that thing happens all our problems will be solved .God willing.

Most of the Arabs think that it's enough for them to eat and sleep and have fun without thinking about the future or what is next to do to improve their country in anyway , because of that we can find most of the Arab countries are occupied by military forces or by economical pressure because we do nothing but sleeping , all that is because we don't have a great goal to work for it , to suffer to reach it , we found cars & telephones & radios & .. & .. & .. Available so why should we suffer more to invent more inventions ??!!! . Here is the answer we have to suffer more & more to tell the development countries that we are here , we can invent we have great people who are able to do their best to keep their dignity , we have to suffer to avoid western control and ordering us to do what they want and to leave what they hate , to avoid the American and the Israeli insult everyday and every moment , because of that we have to suffer.

As we all feel the great danger from trying to gain a nuclear bomb in every country is being increased everyday , most of the countries nowadays have a nuclear bomb and a huge uranium program without any refuse from the any other country .

But if we try to think about it for a while why do all the great countries are trying to stop the Iranian nuclear program even if the Iranian president ahmady nejad assured that the nuclear program in Iran is a peaceful one , and it'll be used to generate electricity and the use of it is just for the peaceful needs . The truth is that it's forbidden to any Islamic country to improve it's technology and try to follow the great countries foot steps .

Let's look at the Palestinian occupied lands (Israel) and see how many nuclear program and nuclear bomb and deadly weapons it has , Israel alone has hundreds of nuclear bombs _to protect it self_ so why do the great countries like the US and the EU why don't they want Iran to use the nuclear technology for the peaceful needs??!! , it's because The Islamic republic of Iran doesn't recognize (what's called Israel) and support the resistance movements in Palestine and Lebanon , so they feel that Iranians will try hard to get the nuclear bomb to destroy Israel , but what the western countries don't know is that having a nuclear bomb is against the Iranian & the Islamic rules and faith _they are trying hard to ignore that_ so the westerns and the Israeli goal is to remove the Iranian system because they feel that it's a big danger on Israel to let the Iranian system as it is doesn't recognize Israel and support Muslims around the world .

9/11 the great American - Israeli lie

today is 9/11 , the whole world is standing watching the american people crying when remembering the attacks on the world trade centre in the US .

Today after 5 years we can feel the great american reaction on the muslims alla round the world and especially in Iraq & Afghanistan _the war on terrorism_ is it really a war on terrorism or a war on MUSLIMS??!! or may be both of them because nowadays there is no difference between Islam & terrorism after accusing the muslims of attacking the US in 9/11.

Ok let's return back 5 years ago to remember how were these attacks happened .. While we were sitting home we heared in the news the latest news which is attacking 2 huge tower in new york & the congres building in washington and we saw aieroplanes hitting the 2 towers in a very certain positions which made it fell down immediatly .. After the 2 towers had fallen down we saw mr. George bush imdeiatly accusing al qa'eda of doing these attacks _how could he asure that alqa'eda who did so??_ from this point we can feel that he knew what was going to happen so he accused it immediatly .
And if some one thinks about it for a sec. he will be sure that alqa'eda didnt do so , because people who fight in the desert by an old weapons & guns .. do you think those people can even ride an aeroplane to destroy the 2 huge towers _it's a stupid lie which is not acceptable_ , so i'm sure that Israel i the only one who did that attackes because at that day all the jewish employees at the 2 towers left it before the attacks happened for that we have to think about it for a while .

Now if the american people are so smart to accuse muslims , they have to be more smart to accuse Israel which is the only winner from that attack more than muslims who lost manythings , and people who don't know mulims can say so but the one who knows the real Islam will never accuse muslims because they only need peace and rights .

After 5 years , why didnt the US army or the CIA killed Osama bel laden?? , is it because he is a very powerful man or he is a great warrior who can protect him self from the CIA & the interpol & the MUSAD ?? , no it's because george bush & Israel don't want him to die because if he dies there will not be any need to complete war on terrorism so Bush wants to keep him alive to complete conquering arabs & muslims & occupy their lands , it's the big game who many of you don't know it , it's a game of increasing the hatred between muslims & the whole world christians & americans & europeans & asians & africans , it's a game of stealing the arabian treasures & dignity & lands . And the only winner is Israel which will increase it's power & complete killing innocent peoples in Palestine & Lebanon & Iraq.

My last words to the americans who lost their children & family & friends during that attacks .. May god blesse their souls , they are in heaven _GOD WILLING_ , my word is to look at the palestinians , look at the innocent palestinians who are being killed everyday by the Israeli troops in Palestine , look at the children who lost their father & mother & brother & sister , look at the wife who lost her husband & the man who lost his arms or legs or eyes , look at men in lebanon who cry every day when they remember their deaths & wounds , all that happened not only by Israel .. But it happened by you dear americans , it happened by your money & weapons which were given to the Israeli army by the american president and his foreighn minister mr condy , now while you are standing crying because you lost one of your friends .. Just look at that girl who lost her father & mother & brother & sister by an Israeli force while having a nice time infront of the gaza beach which her only crime is trying to live as your sons & daughters .

Egypt .. The Past & The Future

Egypt is one of the greatest civilizations in history , the egyptian Civilization tought the whole world everything about anything , i Don't know how the ancient egyptians did so _but they did it_ And also egypt had the best treasures ever .

I don't want to speak about the past according to speak about the Present & the future , because the past is the past and it will never Come back , but also we can learn from the past , we have to look at our ancestors and what they did to be one of the greatest people .

That was ancient egypt but now?? where is it? where is the greatest civilization ? where is the best inventions ? where are the egyptians who think and invent and learn and teach others everything about life and technology? where ?where?where? . We need to get back that great civilization & we can .

Unfortunately egypt now is not that egypt we knew in the past , may be because of the different occupations or because of the enemies who don't want anything except the distruction of egypt & the whole arab countries , many questions need the answer and the answer will never be available unless we know where we are now . We have to forget the occupations and the enemies and look at the future and what we have to do to be real egyptians and arabians .

As we see now there are alot of bad things in egypt we have to remove immediatly , roads are dirty , air is polluted , nile river is also polluted full of pollution , schools are not available for development learning or technology materials ...ETC . But all that can be solved if we decide to solve it , i'm also against returning all the country's problems returning it back to the government , because the government can not solve all the problems alone without the help of the people , and everyone can do something by him self , do not look at the others just start by your self , in this way i'm sure all our problems will be solved .GOD WILLING.

Because i love egypt i have to say that , and i have to creticize what in my opinion is bad to solve it , my dream is to see egypt one of the greatest countries as it was in the past , i want to walk in the streets without kicking rubbish ,i hope to see cars clean and roads and schools and companies , i hope to see traffic officer wearing his clothes clean without spots .. Ordering that person to follow the traffic rules , i hope to see all deserts green , i hope to watch men in their work working hard to improve their work and make it easy and quickly , i hope to look at the pyramids which are one of the worlds' wonders and say that i'm proud to be related to this great part of the world .. I'm the grand child of those persons who changed the world , i hope so.

Last but not least i'd like to inform you all that egypt is mine as it yours , and egypt is my country . As i said before i'm arabian not egyptian not iraqi not palestinian not saudi i'm arabian , and i'll never accept from anyone to tell me that egypt is not my land , and as you care about egypt i also do . I want to show the whole world the greatness of the egyptian land and the egyptian past civilization and the future one . What i'm looking for from us is to work hard , we have to work hard to achieve all our goals and all our dreams , each one has to work hard and not to look at the others , just watch your self then you will be the winner . The last Israeli war on Lebanon proved who is the real man & who is the "half man" .

In the arab world unfortunately some arab leaders condemned hezbollah's last attack on an Israeli military camp , their point of view is that we are not in the good time to make such things and to face a huge power like Israel .. and that they _hezbollah_ had to ask their government and state to take the permission to resist Israel .

"An adventure" this word was a word for 3 arab leaders describing the last operation for hezbollah on the Israeli camp , was it really an adventure ?! did hezbollah do that without any preparation for the next step?! sure not .. Hezbollah is not playing _as i said befor_ it's an Islamic resistance movement which tries to get back the rights and the lands without any political targets or whatever except the sake of the lebanese people .

Let's show some of the real men who are the only hope for this region & for these lands ...
Mr. Bashar el asad .. In his last speeche during a conference he said so:
*The Lebanese resistance is necessary , and we have to keep resisting if our lands are still under the Israeli or any other occupation .
*The last war and the brave resistance for hezbollah was a great victory and nobody can deny that victory .
*And answering the American project which is the new middle east _ without any resistance movement attacks Israel_ that the new middle east we need is the middle east of the resistance victory not the american lies .
*And the normal way for peace is the way of negotetiation , but when we fail in negotiation so the resistance is the only way to achieve our goals , and also there are alot of ways for resistance not only the military resistance but there are many other ways like culture ..politics and so on .

Also Bashar el asad creticizes the 14th of januray & mars movements which want to remove hezbollah's weapons even after the great vistory of it in the last war , he added that these movements are not more than an Israeli products which their only goal is the sake of Israel .
* Last he creticized also the arabian reaction and some of the arab leaders who accused hezbollah and by that they gave Israel the way to keep attacking Lebanon and innocent people .

That man is the Syrian president who were and still helping Hezbollah and each free man wants to return his rights and lands , and the relationship between Syria & Lebanon is so old not a new one , and we saw the Syrian channels during the war .. it kept supporting Lebanon and Hezbollah while the other channels kept singing & dancing while their brothers in lebanon had been killed by Israel.

Thank you mr. president , you are a great man , who is one of some people who care about the rights and the lands .thank you so much mr. president.

The 2nd man is president Ahmady nejad . All of us know that person he is a real muslim , i think that Iran & syria are the main cause of victory after Hezbollah because they are supporting it from A to Z . As we know ahmady nejad is the president of the Islamic republic of iran , the only country which is not having an Israeli embassy or consulate on their lands _a symbol of not recognizing Israel_ and everytime the Iranian leaders accuse Israel and the u.s of killing innocent people and occupying our lands.

Thank you mr. ahmady nejad and also the Islamic republic of iran .

The last person is the great president hugo chafez who appeared in the last war and accused Israel , and more over he refused to keep the Israeli ambassador in karakas in his place . Thank u mr. hugo chafez .

At the end i hope from the arab leaders to look at these persons who decided to support the right , i want from the arab leaders nothing but shutting their mouthes up _that's what i want_ because they don't want to make anything else to their people , they only want to destroy their countries and steal and stay in their places ruling people without any knowldege about how to rule . Look at these president and look at god , you will not gain anything but the satisfaction of GOD.

One month have passed on the war .. What next?!

One month , the Israeli war on Lebanon has not finished yet . 30 days and the victims are being killed from both sides (what's called Israel) & Lebanon .
but after these 30 days many things have been changed , the 6th war between what's called ISRAEL & an Arabic country proved that the Arab world and the resistance movements are not playing .. Most of them are working hard to achieve our goals and our dreams and to get back our rights . But after all that _unfortunately_ some of our people don't believe in our resistance _I don't know why !_ , anyway our life has been changed 180 degrees after we found the great resistance from that great party HEZBOLLAH , the Arabian party _not Shiite .. Not Lebanese .. Not Muslim_ but the Arabian one .

HEZBOLLAH has proved that (what's called Israel) is not that great army which is not able to be distrusted or faced _no it is_ HEZBOLLAH proved so by his great attacks on the internal borders of the Palestinian occupied lands ( Israel ) and the number of soldiers who have been killed , and the tanks and bulldozers which were distrusted from the beginning of the war . It's really a great war for great people who have no target or dream except the sake of their country and people .

about the internal acts ..
unfortunately 3 leaders of 3 different Arab countries condemned the HEZBOLLAH attack on Israel when it attacked the Israeli troops inside the Palestinian occupied lands and captured 2 Israeli soldiers and killed other 8 soldiers _by that Arabian act it looks as if they were supporting the ISRAELI attack on Lebanon_.
Well so 3 Arabian leaders did so , on the other hand we found the IRAN leader president Ahmady najad welcomed that attack and supported it the same as what the Syrian president did .
Even the Venezuela leader president Hugo chafes condemned the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and refused to let the ISRAELI ambassador in Caracas to stay in his place _a great act from a great president like chafes who did what the Muslims and the Arabic presidents didn't do_ thank you Mr. President chafes for your great acts .

30 days and the ISRAELI troops are attacking the Lebanese civilians without any mercy , 30 days and the Muslims blood are being shed all over the Arab countries from Palestine to Lebanon to Iraq to Afghanistan ...ETC , 3o days and Hezbollah is attacking the military targets without killing any innocent people , even if they are not innocents but it's the Islamic rules , 3o days and the world is sitting In a dead silence without even condemning the Israeli violence , 3o days and our children and women are crying and shaking , 3o days .. It's not the last war .. The last conflict , 3o days and 56 years the whole Arab world is suffering from that terrorism state _what's called ISRAEL_ the Palestinian blood , the Lebanese blood , the Iraqi blood ... The Muslim blood .

3o days , we have to congratulate HEZBOLLAH , we have to clap for the ISLAMIC RESISTANCE MOVEMENT IN LEBANON for what they did to the Arabs all over the world , we have to be more optimism than we are , we have to look at the future , to complete dreaming for a better life over our lands and our countries without an external intervention or occupation , we don't need your democracy .. The democracy which is covered by our children blood we don't need it , we just want to live in peace without Israel without the U.S which tries to achieve it's goals in the middle east by encouraging the state over the Palestinian occupied lands to keep killing us and attacking our countries .

My last word to HEZBOLLAH .. you are facing the Israeli troops alone , without the Arabian armies , you are facing tanks & rockets & weapons alone . Don't look at the Arab presidents who are supporting the Israeli terrorism , just look at god , god who's watching you and who knows your real goals and needs . MAY GOD PROTECT YOU & LEBANON & ISLAM .

ZAZA ... The best egyptian movie

ZAZA... the last movie for hany ramzy , the egyptian actor .
the story of the movie is about the latest presidential elections in egypt , but because of the control system they couldnt show the egyptian flag or the name of the egyptian president or even the name of the country .

1st they started the opening of the movie by cartoons showing the real situation in the arab world and describing the arab rulers who dont want to leave their chairs to anyone else and also they want to spend their whole life in their places.

The movie is a comedy political movie , which talks about the president who wanted after the foreighn intervention to make a propaganda and a lie to show the world that he has turned his country to a democratic one by opening the road to those who want to join the presindential elections , but later on after 2 candidates have been killed no one else has tried to join this elections , so the government wanted to encourage people to join just to tell others about their democracy.

A man called ZAZA the star of the movie , a very kind person full of enthusiasme , his life is like most of people in his country hungry .. no money .. no house .. no food ..no & no & no .this kind of life made him think more about his future and how to improve him self . Even if he escapes from his life by dreaming and imaginining air food , and street bedroom .

so after this life he found himself infront of the presidential elections without any imagine , facing the president of his country both of them have to show their electial programme to the people and to prove that each of them is better than the other ...
THE PRESIDENT : my programme is searching for homes , lands , agriculture , economic development ...ETC _ words without acts _
ZAZA's turn: MY programme is.. I HAVE NO programme , but what i'am looking for is a safe life , without caring about eating , or home , or tranportation or food . my dream is to find a good job , a good wife , my dream is when i move to any country i find the repect , and also in my country i want to be respected all the time . THEN HER TURNED TO THE PRESIDENT AND TOLD HIM mr. president i want you to know your people's real problem , to ask them , walk in the street without guards , make your people your only guard , in this way you will gain them and you'll help them at the same time .

by these words ZAZA ended his speech his words were really effective , during watching the movie i felt a shiver down my back , i really thought what about our life ?! , how can we improve our country ?! , we have to keep dreaming , and we have to be more optimistic even if our life doesnt allow us to feel so .

ZAZA won the elections and soon went to the presidential palace , his life has turned up side down from a poor life to the presidential chair , soon he tried to change the bad things in his country by forcing his governmental crew to take off their formal clothes and wear an informal clothes as a sighn of equaling between the government and the people .

one of the best scenes in this movie was when an ambassador of a great country meet him and asked him to open his borders to attack a close country to his lands because of it's dectator president and stubborn one , but the great hero ZAZA refused to allow him to move through his lands because of his brother's needs and welfare _ a great action froma great hero _ not like we see now , each arab ruler open his borders immediatly when a great country asks him to do so .

to face the external dangers we have to improve our military forces , we have to be as powerful as the great countries to be abl to face them if they tried to conquer us or to force us to do something we dont want _ ZAZA's POINT OF VIEW _ then he bought a new development weapons from out side his country .

the end of the movie , a speech of the president announcing that he has changed the country from weakness to powerful to greatness , he announced that his country has got a nuclear weapons to face any dangers from out side . and after the ambassador of the greatest country nowadays knew what happened he ordered to kill the president , someone went and shot him from a far point .

At the end , this movie is the best movie ever , we hope to find the whole leaders of the arab countries do what ZAZA did , we want from them to save their people , to be able to protect them from any external dangers , that is what must be happened .
GOD WILLING . we'll protect our selves and we'll be more powerfull than that . I PROMISE YOU .

Hezbollah leader threatens to strike Israeli city if central Beirut hit

For the first time since war broke out three weeks ago, Hezbollah's leader threatened to strike at Tel Aviv if Israel attacks central Beirut.

Yesterday, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah said he was responding to threats from Israeli military leaders that they might expand their bombing beyond Beirut's southern suburbs, parts of which have been completely destroyed by Israeli air strikes.

But for the first time Nasrallah also offered to stop firing rockets at northern Israel if Israeli forces halt their attacks on Lebanon's infrastructure and civilians.

Israeli officials dismissed Nasrallah's offer, and they threatened to destroy the rest of Lebanon's infrastructure if Hezbollah attacks Tel Aviv. The city is Israel's economic hub and home to about one-million people.

Hezbullah is not playing it's working ,At least 27 Israeli civilians have died by Hezbollah rockets.

In a speech on Hezbollah's TV station, Al-Manar, Nasrallah warned: "If you attack Beirut, then the Islamic resistance will attack Tel Aviv. And it is capable of doing so."

But "at any time you decide to stop your attacks on our towns, cities, civilians and infrastructure, we will not fire rockets on any settlement or Israeli city," Nasrallah added, addressing the Israeli people and government. "We prefer that, if there's going to be fighting, it be military versus military."

Nasrallah also delivered his harshest criticism to date of the United States and its backing of Israel.

"The ones who bear most responsibility for what has happened since the first day of this war ... in killing, massacres and destruction ... are Bush and his administration," Nasrallah said. "(Prime Minister Ehud) Olmert and his government are only tools that carry out the orders."

Six rockets landed in Kiryat Shmona, Israeli ambulance services said.

Four people were critically wounded and one was moderately injured in the rocket attacks, officials said.

The Hezbollah barrage came after Israeli airstrikes left at least eight civilians dead in Lebanon Sunday.

Israeli Army Radio reporter Hadas Shteif described the scene in Kfar Giladi, according to The Associated Press.

"This was the most difficult thing I could have imagined in my career. There are nine bodies here covered in blankets, around us cars are going up in flames," AP quoted her as saying. "On one side is the cemetery, on the other side are the nine young bodies waiting for burial."

In the southern villages of Miskaf and Odaise, Al Manar reported Hezbollah killed an unspecified number of Israeli soldiers and destroyed their two tanks and two cars.

Gibson asks Jews to help him find 'appropriate path for healing'

Jewish community leaders expressed mixed reactions to Mel Gibson's latest apology and plea for help, with some saying they were willing to help the actor as he addresses the anti-Semitic slurs he made during a drunken driving arrest, and others demanding to see proof of his repentance.
Gibson made his second public apology Tuesday, four days after he was arrested for investigation of drunken driving following a hostile, offensive confrontation with deputies. According to a law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity, the sheriff's report says Gibson told the arresting deputy: "The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world," and asked him, "Are you a Jew?"
The latest apology went far beyond the first — which spoke primarily to deputies — by addressing Jewish groups directly.
"I want to apologize specifically to everyone in the Jewish community for the vitriolic and harmful words," Gibson said in a statement issued by his publicist. "Please know from my heart that I am not an anti-Semite. I am not a bigot. Hatred of any kind goes against my faith.
"There will be many in that (Jewish) community who will want nothing to do with me, and that would be understandable," he added. "But I pray that that door is not forever closed."
Gibson, 50, has had an edgy relationship with Jewish organizations since the success of his 2004 blockbuster "The Passion of the Christ," which some criticized for portraying Jews as responsible for the death of Jesus. Supporters said the movie merely followed the Gospel story.
His apology prompted one rabbi to invite Gibson to speak at his temple on Yom Kippur, the Jewish day of atonement. Other Jewish leaders say the healing process will take some time.
"Anti-Semitism is not born in one day and cannot be cured in one day and certainly not through the issuing of a press release," Rabbi Marvin Hier, dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles, said in a statement.
Gibson should read about Jewish persecution and the Holocaust and "visit sites where it occurred," Hier added by telephone from Israel.
"When Mr. Gibson embarks on a serious long-term effort to address that bigotry and anti-Semitism, he will find the Jewish community more than willing to engage and help him," he said.
Abraham H. Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, said the process requires hard work.
"You can't just say I'm no longer a drunk; you can't just say I'm no longer a bigot. You need to work hard at it, and we're ready to help him," Foxman said.
Gibson publicist Alan Nierob said the Yom Kippur invitation came from Rabbi David Barron of Temple of the Arts in Beverly Hills, and he called it "really kind and generous."
"The response has been overwhelmingly positive and generous since he issued his statement," Nierob said of reaction in general. But he added that it was too soon for Gibson to be accepting any speaking engagements.
"It's way too early," Nierob said, adding that Gibson was seeking private meetings with Jewish leaders. "It's not a quick fix, that's not what my client is interested in. This is a recovery process."
Meanwhile, county prosecutors were reviewing the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department report to decide what charges, if any, would be filed against Gibson.
The actor-director was originally stopped for speeding early Friday after authorities said he was seen doing 87 mph in a 45-mph zone on Pacific Coast Highway. Sheriff's officials said a bottle of tequila was found in his car and his blood-alcohol level was 0.12 percent, above California's legal limit of 0.08 percent.
Witnesses said Gibson had been drinking at a Malibu beachfront restaurant called Moonshadows before his car was stopped. Widely distributed photos show him with his arms around several young women at the restaurant shortly before his arrest.
Authorities initially did not mention Gibson's remarks when giving an account of his arrest, with a Sheriff's Department spokesman saying the arrest was made "without incident."
A civilian watchdog attorney, investigating allegations of a cover-up, said a preliminary review found nothing wrong with the handling of Gibson's arrest.
"In this case, the information reviewed to date indicates that LASD did ensure that the arrest of Mr. Gibson was handled in accord with its policies and practices," said Michael Gennaco, head of the county Office of Independent Review.
A deputy's initial decision not to handcuff Gibson was also within department policy, added Gennaco, who said that while the department generally prefers to have suspects handcuffed, officers may use their own discretion.
The department also turned over all necessary information to the district attorney's office, he said.
Gennaco said he wouldn't have described the arrest as without incident, however, and he couldn't say whether the Sheriff's Department had tried to shield Gibson's remarks from the public when the original arrest report was ordered modified and the comments placed in a supplemental report.
"That question I don't have an answer to," he said.
The department has denied any cover-up.
Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said Tuesday that after Gibson was cited and released on his own recognizance a sergeant drove him to a tow yard to retrieve his car, which Whitmore added did not violate department policy.
"It's within our policy to help people out and also to avoid a possible conflict," the spokesman said, describing the brief trip in a marked patrol car. "We didn't want Mr. Gibson to get into any kind of disturbance with the paparazzi."
