contradiction!

One of the most developed economic & political entities is the European union.It's a union composed of 15 member states all share the same traditions, customs & values. As stated in article l-1 and l-2 of the European constitution... The union is open to all European states that respect the member states' common values which are.. The human dignity, freedom, democracy & minority rights. But what we find nowadays is approximately different, the great countries of the union are not following those principles.

The European countries respect freedom of speech in which the union is based on, each person has the right to say & express freely without any restrictions or obstacles? let's see .

A couple of months ago a danish newspaper "jyllands-posten" posted cartoons showing our beloved prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H as a terrorist which angered the whole Islamic world & raised Muslims voices calling for a European apology to the Islamic community, but surely the EU disagreed.

The disagreement of the European union is due to the claim that Europe respects freedom of speech, But does Europe really respects freedom of speech even if that freedom hurts the emotions of more than 1 milliar person on this planet?!. On the other hand there is a violation of the free speech concept in most -if not all- the European countries...

A British historian David Irving faced a in jail after he was arrested in Austria accused of denying the holocaust. He deniesthe existence of gas chambers where Jews were killed. It's true he must have been kept in jail because of his opinions based on researches & documents proving his thoughts -There is a respective free speech- he was arrested due to a law in Austria (a European country) prohibiting the denial of holocaust and carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

Not only Irving who was arrested and accused of being anti-Semite, and not only Austria prohibits the denial of holocaust. Dariusz rataczak a former member of the university of opole faculty published 350 copies of his book "Dangerous subjects" in which he denied also the killing of Jews in the "Auschwitz" gas chambers, Dariusz faced a judgement & accusations of being anti-Semite. Not only Irving & not only Austria.. France also had passed a law called "loi goyssot", one of the several European laws prohibiting holocaust denial. Its first article states that "any discrimination founded on membership or non-membership to an ethnic group, a nation, a race or a religion is prohibited".

So can't a person lives in the most countries respect the freedom of speech say & deny the existence of the gas chambers according to historical evidences and researches?!, if they really hurt the emotions of Jews by saying so.. Why do you accept the insult of a prophet descendant from god calling it freedom of speech & punish those who discuss historical events in a scientific way based on rationality??!!. Just think about it.

We still believe in the European freedom of speech & freedom in general. Another European country.. France, respects the personal freedom of following religions and practice it within the french boundaries , But one more time we are trapped. In France Muslim girls are no longer allowed to wear the veil in public schools under a law passed in the year 2004 says" Students are prohibited from wearing overtly religious symbols including not only Muslims headdress but also Jewish skull caps and large christian crosses.

Why does France pass such laws "loi gossi" & "the law prohibiting wearing religious symbols??!! why does Europe prohibits denying (such a holocaust) rather than condemning an irrational acts insult prophets, religions & dignity?!.

At first glance we might be deceived by the European democracy or freedom of speech because who support an Entity (Israel) which killing, destructing & stealing rights doesn't deserve to be believed.
